On 12th October 2009 was the Bowling Academy Olomouc officially certified by member of ETBF Presidium Mr. Onder Gurkan with participation of many famous people. Benefactors of the Academy were triple World Champion in javelin Jan Železný and member of Davis Cup tennis team and one of the best Czech tennis players Jiří Novák.

The first part of program was the press conference with recorded by TV Nova and sport journalists.

After the conference was set a small tournament with members of Bowling Academy and present guests. The first shot was made by Mayor of Olomouc Martin Novotný, who gave then the best wishes the Academy. Then followed an exhibition match between Czech National Champion Jan Spáčil and guest of honor, Finnish bowler, Petteri Salonen.

After the fantastic friendly match started the tournament. The awesome atmosphere can be expressed only by pictures.

After the tournament and winning ceremony gave the president of Slovak Bowling Federation (SBWZ) the Academy the "Chronicle of Bowling Academy Olomouc", which was signed many famous guests.

At the end of the evening was the Bowling Academy Olomouc declared as an official training center by member of ETBF Presidium and Director of ETBF Educational committee Mr. Onder Gurkan. By this became the center one of the most prestigious world training centers like Olympic training center in Kuortane. Bowling Academy Olomouc is only second certified center in Europe and third in the world.
